On July 26, Jiangfeng Electronics announced that it is based on the company's strategic development plan, in order to accelerate the localization of key materials and components, and serve the market demand for fast-growing semiconductor and flat-display sputtering targets. The company's related products further cover the North China market. The company plans to invest in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone to set up Beijing Jiangfeng Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. (the name is subject to the approval of the relevant department, hereinafter referred to as “Beijing Jiangfeng”), with a registered capital of RMB 1 100 million yuan.

According to the disclosure, Beijing Jiangfeng's business scope includes the development, production and maintenance of special materials for semiconductors, liquid crystal displays and photovoltaic industry. New electronic components manufacturing, common non-ferrous metal purification (except special approval projects) and calendering processing, splashing Injection machine equipment and parts processing, import and export of goods or technology.

The rapid development of the domestic flat display industry has become a major producer of flat panel displays in the world. Beijing has gathered many well-known flat panel display manufacturers in China and is one of the important sales markets for the company's sputtering target products for flat display. At the same time, Beijing is planning a national integrated circuit industrial park, which will cover the entire industrial chain of integrated circuit design, manufacturing, packaging, materials and equipment. At present, well-known domestic manufacturers such as SMIC (Beijing) and BOE are continuing to expand production capacity.

Jiangfeng Electronics said that the company invested in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, which will help reduce the logistics and transportation costs of related products. It will also help accelerate the company's response to customers such as SMIC (Beijing) and BOE.
